Decorated rings are a modern take on the classic wreath. Skandiamo introduces a new inspiration in the #designinspires series, created this year with Jolita Šimelionienė, founder of the floristry studio HEYGEN. It showcases how much creativity they can spark.

"A brass ring decoration is a perfect choice for those seeking more sustainable solutions. Every year, you can add just one or two decorative elements and enjoy a new, chic minimalist decoration. Ferm Living brass ring compositions can inspire using this decor beyond the winter festivities – by choosing suitable elements, they'll embellish celebrations of other seasons too." – discusses Laima Aleknavičienė, Marketing Manager of Skandiamo, on the variety of possibilities offered by a single decorative element – the brass ring.

Jolita Šimelionienė, founder of floristry studio HEYGEN, presents her decor inspirations eloquently: "A multi-layered and elegant floral composition is perfect for decorating with a variety of textiles, ribbons, and bows, as well as dried herbs and other beloved plants."

"In creating #designinspires inspirations, our goal is for the specific design object we present not to be a constraint, but rather a source of inspiration" – says Skandiamo's Marketing Manager, Laima Aleknavičienė.

"For this inspiration, we chose decorative brass rings from Danish manufacturer Ferm Living as the decor's foundation, but various alternatives could be adopted or created: a wicker wheel, an old lampshade holder, a plywood wheel cut-out, etc. Looking beyond, it needn't necessarily be a circle; an old picture frame might become the foundation of your arrangement. "Simply observe with an open and imaginative eye."
