Founded in 1999, the Swedish company Pappelina sets the highest industry standards and attracts customers around the world with not only its products but also its core values.

Pappelina specializes in woven plastic rugs, designed for a wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces – including areas with high humidity.

All Pappelina rugs are handwoven in a family-owned weaving mill established in 1940 in Leksand, Dalarna, Sweden. Each rug is a testament to traditional Swedish craftsmanship – combining thoughtful design, premium materials, and the dedication of skilled artisans.

Pappelina takes pride in its strict material selection, using only top-quality plastic yarns produced in Sweden. These materials are certified safe for use in the food industry and in children’s toys – both in the EU and the US. The rugs are completely free from phthalates and harmful substances, with the raw materials supplied by Gislaved Folie AB, a company certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Pappelina's PVC plastic is highly durable, offering a long-lasting alternative to fast consumption. With proper care, the rugs can last for many years – making them a sustainable and responsible choice. Each Pappelina rug comes with a 3-year warranty.
