Founded over a century ago, EVA SOLO is now led by the fourth-generation descendant, CEO Jan Engelbrecht. Originally, the company focused on producing practical kitchen tools designed to simplify women’s daily household tasks. However, with the rise of gender equality and evolving lifestyles, EVA SOLO underwent a natural transformation. Around the 1970s, open-plan kitchens that blended with living spaces became increasingly popular. No longer seen as purely functional zones, kitchens turned into a central part of home interiors – and therefore needed to harmonize aesthetically as well. The growing demand for everyday items that were not only functional but also visually appealing created the perfect niche for EVA SOLO’s continued growth.
Based in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, EVA SOLO now produces and distributes premium-quality kitchen tools and accessories that combine functionality with aesthetic value - making daily life easier around the world. The EVA SOLO family consists of three brands: EVA SOLO (established in 1997), EVA TRIO (1977), and EVA (1950).
