Founded in 1967 by Lisbeth and Gubi Olsen, GUBI designs high-end furniture and lighting. Initially focused on producing their own designs, the company later expanded by collaborating with other talented designers such as Boris Berlin and Poul Christiansen of Komplot Design. Since 1994, GUBI has held the global production and marketing rights to the iconic BESTLITE lamps. Today, the company is led by the founders' sons, Jacob and Sebastian. 

GUBI is now one of Denmark's leading design companies. Its core mission is to preserve a spirit of curiosity that fuels creativity – constantly exploring new forms of design expression, applying advanced technologies, and using high-quality, innovative materials. With a commitment to functionality, aesthetics, and uniqueness, GUBI has earned widespread recognition not only in Scandinavia but also around the world for its outstanding quality and original design.
