SKANDIAMO, representing manufacturers of Scandinavian design interior accessories, teamed up with the floristry studio VYNVYTIS, leading to the creation of the highly popular "Design inspires" decor series. These decor ideas, showcased in short videos or photo albums, are presented "step by step", encouraging you to reimagine them your way and create your own.
VYNVYTIS and SKANDIAMO welcome spring with a new inspiration: "Easter table decorations inspired by the spirit of spring".
"We welcome Easter with open hearts, leaving behind the hustle of everyday life and focusing on what truly matters. Symbolically, transparent containers were chosen for this décor – they don't hide but instead showcase their contents: authentically decorated eggs and beautiful, original spring floral arrangements that blend seamlessly with high-quality design," explains Laima Aleknavičienė, Marketing Manager of SKANDIAMO.
"The clean and invigorating Easter table decor draws inspiration from the awakening spring, with the main floral composition featuring plants in refreshing colours," shares Ieva Marija, founder of the floristry studio VYNVYTIS.
"When decorating a larger table, you can enhance the floral decor by creating additional small floral arrangements. As in this inspiration, the ikebana principle can be effectively employed," advises Ieva Marija, founder of the floristry studio VYNVYTIS.
"As sunlight or candlelight filters through the clear glassware crafted by Scandinavian artisans, the table becomes adorned with stunning reflections," says Laima Aleknavičienė, introducing the products designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto in the display.
"We've woven an Easter wreath from the ivy that thrives outside the window year-round. This, unexpectedly resting on a glass cake stand, serves as a focal platform for eggs. We also adorned the wreath with the first blooming hellebore flowers," demonstrates Ieva Marija, founder of the floristry studio VINVYTIS, showcasing an original way of presenting the eggs.
"When creating this inspiration, we aimed to use as many natural elements as possible. To complete the decor, we selected natural beeswax candles from Lithuanian farmers, linen textiles, and authentic wax-decorated eggs by the folk artist Dalia Bazarienė, which are preserved as art pieces in Vilnius, at the National Museum of Lithuania," continues the account from VYNVYTIS's founder.
We wish you a joyful and hopeful Easter, enriched with delightful home rituals: whether it be wreath weaving, egg painting, or perhaps baking a delicious cake.
