The PAVILION chair, crafted by the design duo Anderssen & Voll, is named and styled in connection with the iconic building in the heart of Copenhagen – the Langelinie Pavilion. This prominent city landmark first erected in 1885, saw a reconstruction in 1902, and a third modernist architectural revival in 1958. Having weathered numerous challenges, nowadays the Langelinie Pavilion serves as a venue for events, festivities, and receptions. PAVILION chairs are lightweight, perfect for large gatherings, stackable, yet exceptionally modern, much like the Langelinie Pavillion itself, exuding character. The thin steel legs add a sense of lightness, and the sleek silhouette, resembling a loosened rope knot, further enhances the impression of weightlessness. PAVILION AV2 – a minimalist chair version with armrests made of wood and steel.
