The extensive product selection results in a flood of information that often complicates rather than aids decision-making. Let's be concise: what exactly are "special pan coatings", and how do you choose the best one for you?

The Danish brand EVA SOLO, known for premium kitchenware, offers two coatings for pan interiors:

a non-stick Slip-Let® coating
a PFAS-free ceramic Slip-Let® coating

Non-stick Slip-Let® coating

This is EVA SOLO's patented special non-stick coating, uniquely applied to EVA SOLO products. Similar products are known on the market under the names Teflon, SilverStone, Durit, or others.

Slip-Let® is triple-layered, ensuring exceptional durability and reliability. What are the benefits of this coating? The non-stick, slippery surface allows you to significantly reduce the amount of fat used, or even eliminate it entirely. This makes the pans easier to maintain, as food does not stick, and they are extremely easy to clean.

Suitable for all types of hobs, including induction.

IMPORTANT: The fluorinated substances (PFAS) contained in Slip-Let® coatings possess good electrical and mechanical properties, but should not be exposed to very high temperatures for extended periods. Typical cooking temperatures should not exceed 230°C. If the temperature exceeds 260°C, unwanted and harmful fluorinated gases may be released into the environment and food. Therefore, it is crucial to adhere to all manufacturer guidelines.

To completely avoid overheating your Slip-Let® pans, choose the Induction Heat Control series. A special steel alloy at the base ensures the pan does not heat beyond 230°C, allowing for correct heat processing and even cooking of food. The pan itself is protected from overheating, enhancing the efficiency of the non-stick coating.

Slip-Let® Ceramic Coating without PFAS

The special, robust ceramic coating is highly resistant to mechanical damage and heat. Pans with this coating can be heated up to 400°C, making them suitable for oven use. They are particularly good for dishes that need high heat or longer cooking times. The ceramic coating used in EVA SOLO is also produced under the patented Slip-Let® brand, thus referred to as "PFAS-free Slip-Let® ceramic coating."
