Do you think summer joys and city life cannot go hand in hand? Together with SKANDIAMO, we hope to inspire a city-based summer picnic.

Ring up a friend, grab fresh bakery goods and berries from the market, and make your way to the nearby park to craft an unforgettable summer memory. Leisurely, quality time not only lets you escape daily routines, but it strengthens friendships too.

This urban picnic idea was inspired by the new BARRO collection and the pastel colours of the HAY brand. Yellow evokes sunny days, pink hints at blooming flowers, blue mirrors the sky, and brownish tones reflect the city's continuity.

For me, Krista, a picnic is about harmonising food and aesthetics. Textiles are an essential part of such an outing. I mixed and matched the colourful HAY RAM collection napkins and pillows, and used the OUTLINE tablecloth as a blanket. I chose seasonal fruits and vegetables that complemented the existing interior accents and tableware. The table was adorned with fresh bakes and cheeses from Lithuanian farms.
