The iconic X-LINE chair, designed by Danish designer Jørgen Haugesen in 1970, became part of the modern collection of the manufacturer HAY. "The X-Line chair is one of the few high-tech design objects created in Denmark. In many ways, it is one of the most ingenious design solutions in our country: extremely minimalist, yet carefully thought out," says Rolf Hay, the founder of HAY. Made from a thin steel frame, the X-LINE stands out with its industrial style character and precision craftsmanship. Maintaining the harmony between the present and the past, the manufacturer has chosen modern and distinctive colors and finishes. Available options include a chair painted in one of 8 monochrome colors, a glossy chrome-plated chair (this model is not intended for outdoor use), or a chair painted with the seat in a different color, and a galvanized frame and legs. With its minimalist expression, durability, and the ability to stack chairs on top of each other, the X-LINE can be used in both private and business spaces – in both indoor and outdoor environments. For those seeking exceptional comfort, a special seat cushion is available upon request.
