The VILLE collection, created by Anderssen & Voll, marks the studio’s first venture into outdoor furniture design. Its origins lie in a simple concept - stackable objects with a vertical, graphic presence. The standout piece in the series is undoubtedly the VILLE CHAIR. Distinctive and expressive, it features a seamless seat and backrest platform balanced on a sharper, more structured metal leg frame. Visually, the inspiration came from the idea of a flying carpet gliding through the air.
“There’s no rule that says you have to design full furniture collections - what works for a chair often doesn’t translate well to a table. But in the case of VILLE, the repeated motif of the leg and top joint works beautifully across different pieces,” the designers explain.
The VILLE AV44 is the armless outdoor lounge chair version, while the VILLE AV45 comes with armrests. Both are available in two subtle, nature-inspired tones: warm black and bronze green. For added comfort, the chair can be paired with the VILLE AV46 footrest.
