In 1942, architects Arne Jacobsen and Eric Møller designed the Aarhus City Hall building. The original plans didn't include a clock tower, as Jacobsen regarded it as an entirely superfluous addition. Nonetheless, responding to the citizens' requests, the architects designed the tower, adorning the town hall with a majestic 60-metre-high structure encompassed by geometric line intersections reminiscent of a cube's framework. Interestingly, the large clock designed specifically for this tower is positioned not at the summit, but midway up.
ROMAN WALL is a series of wall clocks inspired by the Aarhus City Hall's design. The clock face features Roman numerals, and its style captivates with Jacobsen's characteristic simplicity and clean lines.
