The iconic REVOLT design was crafted around the 1950s by Friso Kramer while at Ahrend. This chair is among the designer's most recognised works, embodying his distinct minimalist approach. REVOLT's uniqueness lies in its sheet steel frame, as opposed to the more typical tubular steel. This composition provides the chair with added flexibility and elasticity without sacrificing strength. The ergonomic and dynamic REVOLT moves with the user, making it a favourite not just for home but also for office, conference and restaurant spaces. Today, under the revitalisation of HAY, REVOLT is produced using original techniques but with the addition of recycled materials.
