The Norwegian design studio „Tveit & Tornøe“ was founded in 2006 in Bergen. Today, it is run by Atle Tveit and Lars Tornøe – designers who both obtained their master's degrees in furniture and spatial design from the National Academy of Arts in Bergen. The main focus of „Tveit & Tornøe“ is on furniture and object design, but the studio also works on interior design, exhibitions, and other spatial design concepts. The studio values unique products, believing that this gives them the right to exist. In their work, they aim to separate what is unnecessary, clarify the context, and ensure that the result is beautiful, logical, practical, perfect, and innovative. One of the studio's most successful products is the „Dots“ coat hooks, produced by „Muuto“. „Tveit & Tornøe“ has received the Young Talent Award in 2007 and Design Mastery Awards in 2009 and 2010.
