Raised in the smallest prefecture of Japan, Teruhiro Yanagihara studied design at Osaka University and established his eponymous design studio in the city in 2002. Striving to find the boundaries between tradition and renewal, he seeks to unite modern technologies, contemporary consumer needs, and the traditional Japanese design aesthetic and spirituality. Collaborating with partners from various countries around the world, Teruhiro not only executes individual design projects but also creates unique interior spaces, where every object emerges only through a meticulous and thoughtful creative process.
