The young Danish designer, founder of Studio 0405, Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze, stands out with a philosophical approach to design. "I don't believe in the concept of timeless design," says Nikolaj. In his view, newly created objects or buildings must reflect the era in which they are born, speaking a contemporary language, and in this way, withstand the trials of time. Based in Copenhagen, Studio 0405 works on product design, interior design, and exhibition design. The studio’s regular clients include renowned names such as Casper Sejersen Studio, Kvadrat, Bang & Olufsen, Frama, eTypes, Made by Hand, Hay, and others.
