Sidse Werner (1931-1989) was a Danish architect, product designer, and textile artist. She worked for many years alongside the iconic Danish designer Nana Ditzel, and in 1969, she moved to the United States to study. In 1970, she founded her eponymous design studio. Sidse Werner’s works have been displayed in various international galleries in London, Paris, Tokyo, San Francisco, and many other cities. To this day, her most famous designs include the „Series 9“ umbrella stand and the „Coat Tree“ coat rack, the latter of which is still produced by the Danish company Fritz Hansen.
