Architect Mogens Lassen (1901–1987) is regarded as one of the most influential and prominent figures in Danish design, and a pioneer of Danish functionalism. He gained international recognition for his highly distinctive creative style. Lassen’s work was deeply inspired by the German Bauhaus school, and its geometric aesthetic is clearly reflected in some of his most iconic architectural and design pieces. His legacy continues to shape Scandinavian modernism, with designs that remain timeless and relevant to this day.
