MSDS STUDIO is a Toronto-based furniture, lighting, and interior design studio run by Jessica Nakanishi and Jonathan Sabine. Their work brings together Jessica’s background in interior design and Jonathan’s experience in furniture and cabinetry. Their design philosophy: „We aim to apply the principles of good design and craftsmanship, seeking forms that feel familiar yet provocative. We believe that a clearly expressed sense of surprise can compel someone to acquire an object, while nuance and craftsmanship are what make them keep it. We value the imaginative, the practical, the beautiful, the useful, and the strange.“
