Lex Pott is a Dutch designer and a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven (2009), currently working from his studio on the outskirts of Amsterdam. He prefers to work with high-quality materials such as wood, stone, and metal, often applying a layered approach to his design projects. With a natural intuition for material experimentation, Lex conducts extensive research in his creative process. Much of his work stands out for its unexpected combinations of techniques and materials. For the brand HAY, he designed the PIVOT shelf and the ISO hook – products where elemental forms are transformed into boldly functional objects.
