Jonas Wagell is considered one of the most promising Swedish architects and designers. He studied graphic design, marketing, design, and architecture at several institutions, including Konstfack University and Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm. His work is known for its playfulness and thoughtful clarity. Jonas has collaborated with renowned companies such as MUUTO, NORMANN COPENHAGEN, MITAB, BERGAFORM, and BSWEDEN.
Jonas Wagell explains:
“My design is more focused on functional rather than artistic objects. I like things we can use every day – they become a part of our lives. I believe attention and feeling matter more than exclusive, expensive materials. That’s why my goal is to create simple objects that are easy to understand and use, while adding a touch of personality and expression. I call this philosophy ‘generous minimalism.’
