After graduating in 2005 from the Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny d'Alcoi in Alicante, Spain, Javier Moreno began his career in the toy industry as a product and 3D designer. He later worked for several furniture manufacturing companies as both a designer and project manager. As a freelance designer, he developed a number of successful projects for various Spanish and international companies. In 2010, Moreno founded his own design practice – Javier Moreno Studio.
Javier Moreno explains:
“For me, design is about representation and materiality. Today, things are becoming less tangible and more virtual, yet people still need real, physical objects in their daily lives. That’s why design should feel human – it should attract through aesthetic expression. I like when things are precise, and I always strive to create maximum value. The objects I design are clear, simple, and closely connected to the user.”
