GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen. For over 15 years, they have passionately and creatively cultivated not only a range of design objects but also perhaps the most beautiful masterpiece of life – their relationship. Partners at work and in life, Stine and Enrico admit that it’s not always easy to stick to fixed working hours. On the contrary, conversations about current or future projects continue as they travel home together or sit down for dinner. In nurturing the unity of GamFratesi, they place great value on their diverse cultural backgrounds. Stine, representing the practical Scandinavian mindset, is the detail-focused perfectionist, while the extroverted Enrico is the idea generator and master of concepts. Drawing from this union of two cultures, the designers create with deep respect for tradition while embracing unique perspectives, symbolism, and associations.
