Furniture designer Fred Rigby grew up in Dorset, England. Surrounded from a young age by the region’s vivid and expressive natural landscapes, he would create all sorts of objects using stones, branches, and shells found nearby. As an adult, he earned a degree in product and furniture design from a London university and went on to establish his own studio in the city in 2008.
Fred Rigby Studio’s work is infused with the organic forms and symbols of nature, and his creative philosophy aims to bring everything that lives inside closer to the perfection of the natural world outside.
