The studio Ding3000 was founded by Carsten Schelling, Ralf Webermann, and Sven Rudolph, who met while studying applied sciences and arts at FH Hanover University. Ding3000 specializes in the design of everyday consumer products. “We’re driven by the romantic idea that a designer is an inventor – someone who creates objects that can make the world a better place. We enjoy challenges, whether they relate to design or human behavior. At the core of our work is the constant search for new, better, different, sometimes unfairly forgotten, or witty ideas.” Design awards include the Rainbow trivet, which received the Good Design Award in 2011, and the Beater whisk, which won the Red Dot Award in 2012.
