Line Depping and Jakob Jørgensen are Danish designers who collaborate on specific design projects while also working independently in their own studios. The two met while studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 2007. Their projects often center around wood, which they combine with contrasting materials and colors. The duo complements each other well – Depping draws inspiration from exploring and responding to her surroundings, while Jørgensen pursues sculptural expression that enhances Scandinavian functionality. Their work can be described as a search for detail, innovation, and experimental woodworking techniques. The manufacturer HAY presents their joint creation – the Eiffel collection of shelves and tables.
