Anja Kjær graduated from the Danish School of Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. For over 25 years, she has been creating unique glass designs as an independent art form. Her strong sense for vibrant, joyful colors combined with classic lines gives Anja Kjær’s work a distinct character – making her designs recognized and loved far beyond Denmark’s borders.
Her extensive portfolio includes over 18 years as a designer for Holmegaard, as well as participation in numerous international exhibitions. Anja Kjær’s creations are featured in permanent museum collections from Copenhagen to New York.
