In 1998, at just 26 years old, design school graduate Alexander Lervik unknowingly created a concept that would open the doors to the design world. With his exhibition titled "10 Chairs for 10 Decades," he combined conceptual design with innovation – a project that marked his breakthrough in the interior design industry.
A holistic approach to design best defines Lervik’s work, which has earned him recognition as one of Sweden’s most influential designers for nearly two decades. He is known for boldly expressing his desire to create innovative, never-before-seen objects.
“I rarely design for beauty. I’m inspired by innovative projects that tell a story. Concept is my strength, although some might think that makes me an unsuccessful designer,” says Alexander Lervik.
