The Danish company VIPP is a family business whose history began in 1932. Its founder, Holger Nielsen, nurtured a peaceful family life and business in the small town of Randers, where he had his own metalworking workshop. One day, hearing from his wife, Marie, "I need a trash can for the hair salon. Can you make one?", Holger unknowingly took a decisive step. His new creation became a true highlight of the salon, a breakthrough in his business, and a significant event in the lives of his future children. The successful product story culminated in 2009, when the unique metal trash can created by Holger was included in the permanent collection of the MoMA museum in New York and officially became an immortal design icon, part of Danish cultural heritage.
The VIPP19 OPEN TOP is a spacious trash can suitable for both professional work environments and cozy home spaces. The special lidless design ensures convenient and efficient waste disposal, while the rubber ring at the bottom of the trash can protects the floor from scratches. The black body and details add exceptional aesthetic value to the practical design, highlighting the iconic silhouette of the product and design details.
