The RUGS collection is designer Cecilie Manz's endeavour to create a rug that embodies the fundamental principles of artwork: composition and colour harmony. With the incorporation of tufted weaving technique, four impressive RUGS variants emerged: OCHRE, BALANCE, DOTS and DOTTED BALANCE. "Our interiors often favour neutral tones, which is understandable." "But what is life without more vibrant colours?" asks the designer. She provides an answer in the most convincing manner: with vibrant, yet subtly designed rugs. Each rug in the RUGS collection is handmade using natural wool and dyed with safe textile dyes.
The design of the DOTS rug is adorned with a pattern of black dots. The varying density of the dots creates a visually dynamic and harmonious rhythm.
