In Norse mythology, "heima" means "home". In design circles, it names an exquisite collection of Candle Holders. Crafted by Danish designer Francis Cayouette, HEIMA captures a key Scandinavian tradition: crafting cosy home atmospheres through candlelight on long winter nights. HEIMA's sparse and almost stark design fuses two forces: the deep northern night and the promise of a candle's flame. The striking contrast underscores the design's mystique and a realisation that without darkness, there cannot be light. Awarded the prestigious IF Design Award. The HEIMA 4-ARMED candle holder offers a sculptural interpretation bringing a touch of Scandinavia to any locale. As with all candle holders in this series, it is fashioned from a robust iron-carbon alloy, specifically cast iron.
