SKAGERAK CURA natural oil for interior wooden furniture is formulated to strengthen and safeguard wooden surfaces. CURA is perfect for teak, Canadian red cedar, cherry, mahogany, and other woods with similar properties. The oil penetrates deeply and naturally darkens the wood surface while providing protection against environmental elements: moisture, grime, and grease.

1. Before applying oil, sand the surface using 180 grit paper. Remove any dust with a dry cloth. 2. Clean the wooden surface with a specialised wood cleaner. Let the surface dry at room temperature for at least 8 hours. 3. Stir the oil thoroughly before application. 4. Apply the oil evenly across the surface with a brush. 5. Allow to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes, then apply a second coat. 6. Gently polish the surface using a buffing sponge. 7. With a clean cloth, wipe away any excess oil, ensuring no oil is left unabsorbed. 8. Wait an hour and repeat steps 3 – 7. Perform the complete oiling process at least 2 or 3 times before using the product. 9. After the final oiling (step 4), use 280-320 grit sandpaper on the still-moist surface, wiping away excess oil with a lint-free cloth. 10. Leave the product to dry at room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours. The oil cures fully in a week; so exercise great caution if using the furniture beforehand. Spilled liquids should be cleaned up immediately.
